"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."

In early 2016, after completing the first of two field study training cohorts I already understood I would learn much from amazing, compassionate woman during our group training experience. Since then, we began organically co-creating an “oh thank you God” eclectic international community. We're culturally diverse, women in our 20s through 70s, married, separated, or divorced, across the spectrum of the Christian faith with a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds, interests, gifts, skills, passions, perspectives, values, and beliefs ... with each of us bringing our traumatic AND in-recovery, healing stories.

Together we're co-creating a post-training community to help us continue growing as trauma-informed peer facilitator through webinars, by offering support and sharing resources, as well as sharing what’s being offered through the ministries and organizations by those connected to ADOH.

In today's post, I'll highlight some opportunities reflecting two ADOH core values: collaborating and connecting.

SILS April 28 - 30 2022

When I attended SILS' first Summit in 2018, I met others with similar values in a grace-filled setting with ample opportunities to give and receive feedback, stretch, and grow. That approach brought me back in 2021 when C-SASI (where I serve as a board member) co-hosted the Summit, and we are doing so again this year.

The Summit's structure and content is designed for:

  • Pastors, church staff, and lay leaders seeking direction for creating strategic engagement on sexuality in their church.

  • Christian ministry leaders seeking cross-training and connection with other professionals working in the trenches.

  • Counselors, therapists, coaches, and mentors interested in professional development and networking with other Christian leaders.

Summit location: Grace Church 2695 Creve Coeur Mill Rd Maryland Heights, MO 63043

Early Bird Registration ($229) ends February 1 2022 Registration https://sexualintegrityleaders.com Plenary speakers and breakout presenters will cover a range of relevant topics. For breakout presenters and topics click here: The breakout learning tracks

Right around the corner...

I love confidently recommending well-facilitated, groups to those seeking help with sexual betrayal recovery/healing. I'm confident they will provide safe, trauma-informed support to help partners move forward. So I'm honored to share some events happening 'right around the corner'. I've met each of these incredible leaders through their participation in the ADOH peer facilitator training experience, our community, as well as in other professional settings.
